My MBA – kicking it up a notch

I decided early on that I wanted to ensure that I got the best out of my career, and for a while, not having a degree meant that I could manage everything I needed to with ease.  But soon, I discovered that having a degree – my MBA – would get me further up the career ladder than not – and it’s said that people with recognised degrees earn more in their lifetimes.  So I went for it.

Sitting my MBA

I sat my MBA through an online service – it was easier, and meant that I could work full time and study in my own time, in the evenings, giving me the best of both worlds. I didn’t feel like I was out of touch with my work – and I could still study – and start applying the stuff I was learning straight away!
It wasn’t expensive either – one of the worries I had was that with the rise in prices at universities since the government allowed them to do so, that it would cost far too much to study, but it was highly affordable and enjoyable.  I really thought it was a great thing to do – and I’ve never regretted it once.

I graduate in a couple of months, and I’m already seeing the benefits to my work ethic, my company has already commented on how great it is, and best of all, it’s helping me make the business better.
